ARTHUR J. BOURGET SCHOLARSHIP CRIMINAL JUSTICE

Dorothy E. Bourget was a life-long resident of Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High in 1932. . Her father, Arthur J. Bourget, was a Cambridge Police Officer from 1902 until his death in 1937. Prior to Dorothy’s death at 102, she
created this scholarship to honor her father Arthur J. Bourget. The Dorothy Bourget Scholarship Selection Committee will award a total of two $20,000 scholarships to two Cambridge students and will be continued for a second year if the
students remain eligible.


Criminal Justice, studies may include the law, forensic science, forensic psychology, juvenile detention, or a related field. Eligible students should have a B average or better and have participated in community service. Scholarships will be based on overall achievement including, academic performance, extra curricular activities, and community involvement. Scholarship will be need based as well.
